Depression is a common mental health presentation that affects a lot of people, either directly or indirectly. Depression is
recognisable by characteristics such as: sadness, significant loss/gain of appetite or weight, loss of interest in previously enjoyable
activities, hopelessness and worthlessness, fatigue, lack of motivation, and even self-harm and suicidal thoughts/action. Depression
often wreaks havoc on our ability to perform the most basic tasks (e.g. brush our teeth, have a shower, get out of bed). This inability
to complete these tasks then go on to impact our functioning in the following areas:
